Of all citrus jams, kumquat jam is perhaps the most convenient to prepare. And all because small citrus fruits do not need to be cleaned at all. At the same time, the bright color, taste and pleasant sourness – everything remains in place.
Ingredients
- Kumquat - 1.2 kg
- Sugar - 600 g
- Water - 100 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the kumquat, cut into a couple of pieces and remove the seeds.
Cover it with sugar, pour in hot water, and leave for 20 minutes.
Boil the jam over low heat for about half an hour.
Let it cool, chop it with an immersion blender and bring it to a boil again.
Roll the jam into sterile jars.
