Many pass by black berries, not even guessing how much delicious you can cook from them. The easiest way is to cook compote from cherry. The drink will please with a beautiful color and, of course, taste. You can drink it immediately or close it in jars for the winter.

Ingredients

  • Bird cherry - 500 g
  • Sugar - 150 g
  • Citric acid - on the tip of the knife
  • Water (filtered) – 4 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Place the cherry berries in the prepared jars, filling no more than a third of the volume.

Boil water, add sugar, citric acid and boil for 3 minutes.

Pour boiling syrup into jars with berries.

Put the jars in a pot of hot water and sterilize for 10 minutes.

Carefully take out the jars, roll them up and turn them upside down.
