I have tried many recipes for fried pepper, but most of all I like to cook it with garlic. You can cut it as you like: in halves, large slices and straws. I will only note that it is more convenient to add small pieces to stews and soups.

Ingredients

  • Bell pepper - 2 kg
  • Garlic - 50 g
  • Vegetable oil - 250 ml
  • Vinegar - 40 ml
  • Sugar - 1 tsp.
  • Salt - 2 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the bell pepper in half, peel the seeds and chop.

Place in a preheated frying pan with oil and fry for 12-15 minutes over medium heat.

Peel the garlic, chop it coarsely and add it to the frying pan with pepper.

Add sugar, salt and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Pour in the vinegar, stir and immediately remove from the heat.

Arrange the fried peppers in jars and roll them up.
