When there are no fresh vegetables in stock, you can prepare a delicious beetroot salad with nuts and mayonnaise. Beets should be pre-boiled or baked in the oven. You can serve this salad with pasta, porridge or mashed potatoes.
Ingredients
- Beetroot (boiled) – 500 g
- Walnuts - half a glass
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Mayonnaise - 2 art.l.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Parsley (for submission) – 1 twig
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the beetroot and grate it on a coarse grater.
Dry the walnuts in a frying pan for a couple of minutes and chop them in a blender.
In a large salad bowl, mix beets, walnuts and garlic passed through a press.
Add salt, ground black pepper, mayonnaise and mix.
Put the salad on a plate and garnish with fresh parsley.
