To make a really tasty and interesting jam, I prefer to mix several different fruits and berries in one preparation. For example, this version of apples and red currants has been repeatedly tested in practice and has some advantages!
Ingredients
- Red Currant - 800 g
- Apples - 600 g
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Water - 1 glass
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the apples and grate them.
Cut the currant from the twigs.
Boil water with sugar and boil the syrup for 5 minutes.
Add the apples and currants there, and bring to a boil again.
Cook the jam for 20 minutes on low heat and put it in clean, dry jars.
