Speaking of my favorite winter preparations, I would like to mention this wonderful option separately. Borscht with beans and cabbage is especially good in small portion jars. You will always have at hand a practically ready lunch, also from young vegetables.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Soak the beans overnight in advance and boil them until tender.

Peel the tomatoes and chop them with a blender.

Chop the remaining vegetables into borscht to taste.

Bring the tomato and vegetable oil to a boil.

Add the beets and cook for 20 minutes on low heat.

Add the remaining vegetables and simmer for another 25 minutes.

After 15 minutes, add the beans.

At the end, add salt, sugar and vinegar.

Boil the borscht for another 5 minutes and roll it into sterilized jars.
