Ingredients
- Carrots - 400 g
- Flour - 350 g
- Chicken eggs - 4 pieces
- Sugar - 200 g
- Salt - 0,25 tsp.
- Baking powder dough - 1 tsp.
- Ground cinnamon - 1 tsp.
- Vegetable oil - 200 ml
- Walnuts - 200 g
- Powdered sugar (for sprinkling) – 1 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the carrots, dry them and grate them on a fine grater.
Dry the walnuts in a frying pan for a couple of minutes and chop them in a blender.
Mix the sifted flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, nuts and cinnamon.
In a separate container, mix carrots, vegetable oil and lightly beaten eggs.
Pour the resulting mass into a dry billet and mix well. The dough should be moderately thick.
Put the dough in a baking dish lined with baking paper.
Bake for 40 minutes in a preheated oven. Depending on the thickness of the cake and the characteristics of the oven, the time may vary slightly.
Remove the cake from the oven and leave it in the mold for 10 minutes.
Sprinkle the finished dessert with powdered sugar and slice.
