Sour cream with honey cakes attracts with a delicate balance of flavors. There is both sweetness and a slight sourness – very harmonious and absolutely not cloying. If desired, decorate the cake with the same sour cream or a denser cream cheese.
Ingredients
For cakes:
- Chicken eggs - 4 pieces
- Honey - 3 tbsp.l.
- Sugar - 1 glass
- Flour - 1-1.5 glasses
- Baking soda (slaked) – 1 tsp.
For cream:
- Sour cream - 500 g
- Powdered sugar - 100 g
- Lemon juice - 1 tsp.
- Vanillin - 1 pinch
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Separately whisk the yolks and whites until fluffy.
Add honey to the yolks, and sugar to the whites, and whisk again.
Carefully combine both masses, add the sifted flour with soda and mix.
Bake the cake in the oven for about half an hour at 180 degrees, let cool and slice.
Whisk sour cream and powdered sugar until fluffy, and add lemon juice.
Smear the cakes, collect honey sour cream, decorate to taste and send to the refrigerator.
