Lucky enough to get some thorn? Do not rush to cook boring compote from it. It is better to prepare a pastille of blackthorn! A healthy dessert can be put on the table instead of sweets or beautifully wrapped with ribbons and presented to neighbors.

Ingredients

  • Turn - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 350 g
  • Water - 1 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Put the blackthorn in a saucepan and fill with water. Boil for 10 minutes from the moment of boiling.

Drain the liquid into a separate bowl.

Rub the soft thorn fruits through a sieve.

Transfer the resulting mass to a saucepan. Add sugar and 150 ml of broth.

Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.

Puree with an immersion blender until smooth.

Put the blank in a thin layer on a covered baking sheet and put it in the oven for 8 hours. It is recommended to dry at a temperature of 65 degrees.

Separate the finished pastille from the paper, cut it and roll it into tubes.
