Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix the sifted flour, cocoa and sugar in a bowl.
Add melted butter, soda, slaked lemon juice, warm milk and lightly beaten eggs.
Knead the dough thoroughly until smooth. It should turn out thick as sour cream.
Cover the split mold with baking paper, pour in the dough and smooth it out.
Bake for half an hour in a preheated 200 degree oven. Readiness can be checked with a wooden skewer.
Remove the cake from the oven, cool at room temperature and cut into three cakes.
Pour regular and vanilla sugar into the cooled sour cream. Beat with a mixer until the sugar crystals completely dissolve.
In a separate saucepan, melt the butter, add sugar and milk. Stir vigorously with a spoon until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Pour the cocoa through a small strainer and mix until smooth. Bring to a boil and turn off.
Assemble the cake on a wide dish, smearing the cakes with sour cream.
Pour chocolate icing generously on top. The finished cake should soak in the refrigerator for several hours.
