A convenient, practical and everyday way of cooking Japanese mochi is in a frying pan. There are a couple of nuances that must be taken into account, and further in the recipe I will tell you more about them. And choose the filling at your discretion.
Ingredients
- Rice flour - 170 g
- Sugar - 130 g
- Milk - 250 ml
- Vegetable oil - 4 tsp.
- Vanilla Extract - 1 tsp.
- Nutella - 100 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Heat the milk in a frying pan without bringing it to a boil. Add the sugar and boil until it dissolves, stirring.
Add butter, vanilla and a couple of drops of dye. Stir and remove the workpiece from the heat.
Add rice flour and immediately knead the dough.
Put it back on the stove on a low heat and bring it to a density.
Roll out the dough on a starch-dusted table and let it cool under the film.
Divide it into parts, lay out the nutella filling and form a mochi.
Send them to the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
