Traditionally GHEE oil is used in Indian cuisine. It is more useful than ordinary oil and is often used not only in cooking, but also for treatment. The easiest way to cook it is in a slow cooker. You can store the product without a refrigerator!
Ingredients
- Butter - 1 kg
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Release the butter from the packaging.
Cut the butter into cubes and put it in a slow cooker.
Set the temperature to 100 degrees and cook for 1 hour in the "Languor" mode.
Foam will appear in the process. Don't be alarmed, this is normal.
Use a slotted spoon to collect all the foam.
By the end of cooking, the oil should be transparent.
