Cauliflower in batter can be prepared using both fresh vegetables and frozen, and the result in both cases will be excellent. To make the snack even tastier, it is better to serve it with some sauce.
Ingredients
- Cauliflower - 250 g
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Flour (wheat) – 2 tbsp.l.
- Salt - to taste
- Spices and seasonings - to taste
- Vegetable oil (for frying) – 2 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Divide a large cabbage inflorescence into small inflorescences and rinse with running water. Then cook in salted water until soft – about 10 minutes. Flip it into a colander.
Make a batter – mix chicken egg, wheat flour and salt in a bowl. Use a whisk so that there are no lumps left.
Lower the cabbage in portions into a bowl with batter.
Transfer the cabbage inflorescences to a frying pan in heated vegetable oil. Fry on a low heat for 2 minutes on each side. If the cabbage has absorbed a lot of oil, you can put it on a napkin.
Serve a delicious snack hot or warm, with fresh herbs, sauce.
