Do you want to surprise your family with a delicious dish? Prepare a fragrant julienne of honeydew! Mushrooms should be boiled beforehand. This will get rid of garbage and bitterness. Further actions differ little from the traditional recipe.

Ingredients

For Julien:
  • Honeydew - 500 g
  • Onion - 2 pieces
  • Milk - 150 ml
  • Cheese - 120 g
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.l.
  • Bay leaf - 2 pieces
  • Nutmeg - at the tip of the knife
  • Ground black pepper - to taste
  • Salt - 0,5 tsp.
  • Water - 2 l
For Sauce:

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the honeydew, chop it and put it in a saucepan.

Add water, bay leaf and boil for 10 minutes.

Put the mushrooms in a colander and rinse.

Peel the onion from the husk and finely chop it.

Fry the onion in vegetable oil until transparent.

Add honeydew, milk, salt, spices and simmer for 10 minutes.

Separately in a dry frying pan, fry the flour until golden brown.

Add butter, cream, salt and simmer for 2 minutes.

Put the billet with fried honeydew into molds.

Add the sauce and sprinkle with grated cheese.

Bake for 15 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees.
