Usually this snack is made from herring, but if it is not available, you can use other fish. I once tried to cook a sprat forshmak and was satisfied with the result. Of course, it took a long time to mess with small fish, but it turned out very tasty.
Ingredients
- Sprat (spicy salt) – 300 g
- Chicken eggs (boiled) – 2 pieces
- Apples - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Lemon juice - 2 art.l.
- Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.l.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Ground coriander - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the sprat from the entrails and head. Divide it in half with your fingers, take out the spine.
Peel the onion from the husk and cut into large pieces.
Cut the apple into four parts, remove the seeds and stalk.
Peel the eggs from the shell and rinse.
Place sprat, eggs, onion and apple in the blender bowl. Grind until smooth.
Add lemon juice, oil, salt, spices and mix well.
