If you like rice, feel free to add it to the forshmak. It is just as appropriate here as in other snacks from salted fish or canned fish. Just do not overdo it with the amount so that you get forshmak with rice, and not rice with forshmak.

- Herring (fillet) – 600 g
- Fig (boiled) – 80-100 g
- Chicken eggs - 3 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Apples - 1 piece
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- Vegetable oil - 2 art.l.
- Vinegar - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the rice and eggs in advance so that they cool down.
Peel the onion and apple, chop the herring coarsely and put everything through a meat grinder.
In the same place, pass the eggs through a meat grinder, add rice, oil, vinegar and spices, and mix the forshmak.
