Many do not take up this dish, but in fact the recipe is very simple. To cook a tender chicken liver pate at home will work only with the help of an immersion blender. It is impossible to achieve the desired consistency without it.
Ingredients
- Chicken liver - 1 kg
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Butter - 60 g
- Cream - 100 ml
- Cognac - 2 art.l.
- Nutmeg - on the tip of the knife
- Ground black pepper - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the chicken liver and peel off the films.
Peel the onion from the husk and finely chop it.
Melt the butter in a frying pan, put the onion and fry until golden brown.
Add the liver and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pour in the cognac, sprinkle with salt, spices and fry for another 2 minutes.
Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.
Puree with an immersion blender until smooth.
