Fragrant and healthy compote of Uzbek nectarines for your family. This compote is much more useful than juices from the store, has no preservatives and is prepared with the preservation of nutrients and vitamins throughout the winter.

Ingredients

  • Nectarine - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 600 g
  • Water - 2 l
  • Citric acid - 20 g

Step-by-step cooking recipe

For compote preparation, sterilization of cans is optional. Just rinse them well before use.

Wash the nectarine well, remove the bone inside. Depending on the size of the jars, you can leave the nectarine in slices or cut it even smaller.

Put the nectarine in jars. Pour boiling water, leave for 15 minutes. Drain the water into a saucepan and put it on the fire.

Add sugar to the water and cook the syrup until it boils. At the end, add citric acid. Pour the syrup over the nectarine and roll it up.

Put the compote to cool in a cool and dark place. You can pre-wrap a warm blanket.
