My family just loves herring under a fur coat, so we cook it very often. Once I had to make a salad with quail eggs. It turned out delicious and healthy. I advise you to try this interesting recipe too!
Ingredients
- Herring (lightly salted) – 1 piece
- Beetroot (boiled) – 250 g
- Potatoes (boiled) – 200 g
- Carrots (boiled) – 2 pieces
- Quail eggs (boiled) – 10 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Green onion - 2 of the stem
- Mayonnaise - 180 ml
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel, gut and finely chop the herring.
Chop both types of onions. Grate eggs and boiled vegetables on a grater. Leave one egg to decorate the salad.
Put the potatoes on a wide plate, season with salt, pepper and smear with mayonnaise.
Add layers of quail eggs, onions, herring, green onions and carrots. Sprinkle with pepper, salt and add mayonnaise.
Lay out the beets, flatten, garnish with egg and green onion. Infuse the salad for 2 hours in the refrigerator.
