For my taste, the most delicious sandwiches are obtained not from bread for toast, but from fragrant Italian ciabatta with a crispy crust. I want to share with you my favorite version, in the traditions of the same Italian cuisine.
Ingredients
- Bread (ciabatta) – 2 pieces
- Mozzarella - 150 g
- Cherry tomatoes - 4-6 pieces
- Basil - 1 handful
- Pesto sauce - 4 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Slice the ciabatta lengthwise, but not to the end. Lubricate the pesto.
Cut the mozzarella and tomatoes into thin circles and put them in the same place.
Add basil leaves.
