The original version of the popular snack. With soft lime juice, it turns out not so sharp, and the fresh aroma of ginger goes well with garlic. When working with ginger, do not forget to turn on the hood, open windows and use gloves.
Ingredients
- Carrots - 600 g
- Garlic - 2 clove
- Ginger - 10 g
- Lime - 1 piece
- Vegetable oil - 4 art.l.
- Ground red pepper - to taste
- Sugar - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the carrots and grate them on a special grater.
Add salt, sugar, mix and set aside for 10 minutes.
Scald lime with boiling water, cut in half and squeeze out the juice.
Peel the ginger and grate it on a fine grater.
In a bowl with carrots, add lime juice, ginger, ground red pepper and garlic passed through a press.
Pour in the hot oil, mix and put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
