Japanese cuisine is not only sushi and rolls. Try to cook cute rice triangles onigiri. The taste is no worse, and the hassle is much less. Keep a simple and quick recipe for cooking onigiri with fish at home.

Wash the rice, fill it with water and put it on the fire. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and cook for 15 minutes. Then remove from the heat and, without opening the lid, leave to infuse.

Fry finely chopped onion in butter, mix with tuna and cottage cheese.

For dressing, mix rice vinegar, sugar and salt, mix well until the sugar dissolves and add to the rice. Stir and cool.

Form onigiri: make a ball out of rice, make a recess, put the filling inside. Wrap the rice cake and shape it into a triangle.

Cut the nori leaf into small rectangles, wrap the onigiri from the bottom. Moisten the tip of the triangle with a little water and dip it into sesame seeds.

Serve ready-made onigiri with fish to the table with soy sauce.
