I want to share with you a completely non-classical recipe for forshmak with green peas. Perhaps calling this dish forshmak is not even entirely accurate. But still, the basis is still the same herring with apple, eggs and potatoes.
Ingredients
- Herring (fillet) – 600 g
- Potatoes - 2-3 pieces
- Chicken eggs - 3 pieces
- Apples - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Green peas (canned) – 150 g
- Mayonnaise - 4 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil potatoes and eggs until tender.
Pass all the ingredients through a large grate of a meat grinder or finely cut into cubes.
At the end, add the peas and season the forshmak with mayonnaise.
