You can prepare a snack from different ingredients. Chickpeas, beans and lentils are often used, less often soy and peas. I once cooked hummus from beans and I must say that it turned out very tasty. The recipe differs little from the traditional one.

Pre-soak the beans for 4 hours.
Flip into a colander, rinse and transfer to a saucepan with fresh water. Boil for 40 minutes.
Drain two-thirds of the remaining liquid, cool the beans slightly.
Add cumin, salt, lemon juice, rice wine, tahini paste and grind until smooth.
Put the bean hummus in a deep bowl, pour olive oil and sprinkle with paprika.
