A very satisfying dish from the available products. Chicken liver pate with lard turns out juicy and delicious. It can be smeared on bread or salted crackers. And the consistency of the snack allows you to use it for filling profiteroles and tartlets.
Ingredients
- Chicken liver - 500 g
- Lard (fresh) – 100 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Milk - 100 ml
- Thyme - 1 twig
- Ground black pepper - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the bacon from the skin and finely chop it.
Chop thyme, peeled onion and garlic.
Put the fat in a frying pan and melt the fat over low heat.
Add the onion and fry until transparent.
Add the liver and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pour in the milk, add salt, thyme, ground pepper and garlic. Simmer for 2-3 minutes and turn off the heat.
Puree the mass with an immersion blender until smooth.
