Wash the salmon under running water and dry it with a paper towel.
Rub the fish with ground black pepper, salt and leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
Chop the parsley, cut the lemon into slices. Leave two or three pieces for serving, squeeze out the juice from the rest.
Melt butter, squeeze garlic through a press and add lemon juice.
Put the fish on a baking sheet, pour garlic-butter sauce and sprinkle with parsley.
Bake the salmon in a preheated 180 degree oven for 25 minutes.
