Mukhammara is a very original and savory snack with a puree–like consistency. It is prepared on the basis of pepper, nuts and spices. The taste itself turns out to be unusual and expressive. But even it can be made even more original and brighter. For example, add mint.
Ingredients
- Bell pepper - 4 pieces
- Chili pepper - 3 pieces
- White bread - 2 slices
- Walnuts - 100 g
- Olive oil - 100 ml
- Garlic - 2 teeth
- Spices and seasonings - 2 tsp.
- Mint - 4 twigs
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wrap the bell pepper in foil and bake in the oven for about 35 minutes at 200 degrees.
Peel it and grind it in a blender with bread, chili, garlic and chopped nuts.
Add chopped mint, chop again and season the pasta to taste.
Add olive oil and whisk the muhammara one last time.
