Last weekend I tried to cook shawarma in a pit with chicken. The snack turned out juicy and delicious. And it also turned out that it is more convenient to work with tortillas than with pita bread. Simply fry them in a frying pan, cut and open them.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 300 g
- Pickled cucumbers - 2 pieces
- Tomatoes - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Pepperoni pepper (pickled) – 2 pieces
- Butter - 40 g
- Mayonnaise - 2 art.l.
- Sour cream - 2 tbsp.l.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
- Pete - 2 pieces
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the chicken fillet into large pieces.
Melt the butter in a frying pan, lay out the meat and fry for 10 minutes.
Put the finished chicken on a board, chop, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Chop the pickled cucumbers, pepperoni, tomatoes and peeled onions.
Mix mayonnaise, sour cream and garlic passed through the press.
Fry the pita in a dry frying pan for 3-5 seconds on each side, cut the edge and open.
Put the sauce and meat inside.
Add tomatoes, pepperoni, cucumbers and onions.
