For a quick snack, you can prepare a shawarma. There are many recipes for this popular snack. Today I offer an option with chicken, Korean carrots and tomatoes. When roasting meat, I add a little garlic, but this is not necessary.
Ingredients
- Lavash (thin) – 4 pieces
- Chicken fillet (boiled) – 300 g
- Korean carrots - 200 g
- Tomatoes (average) – 3 pieces
- Iceberg lettuce (large) – 4 leaf
- Garlic - 2 teeth
- Olive oil - 1 art.l.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Mayonnaise - 120 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the chicken fillet and fry in olive oil until golden brown.
Add salt, ground pepper and garlic passed through the press.
Cut tomatoes into slices.
Spread the pita bread on the table and smear with a thin layer of mayonnaise.
Put a lettuce leaf, Korean carrots, tomatoes and chicken in the middle.
Tuck the sides inside and roll up a tight roll. Repeat the steps with the rest of the pita bread and filling.
