I like to cook on weekends. It's a great time to try out new recipes, and then get together with the whole family and evaluate the results. Recently, as an experiment, I baked a pizza calzone. We unanimously decided to add this dish to our permanent menu.
Ingredients
- Ham - 100 g
- Mozzarella - 100 g
- Champignons - 5 pieces
- Tomatoes - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Tomato sauce - 2 art.l.
- Olive oil - 1 art.l.
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Oregano - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix the sifted flour, yeast, salt and sugar.
Add oil, water and knead the dough.
Place in a bowl, cover with a towel and put in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Chop tomatoes, mozzarella, mushrooms, ham, peeled garlic and onion.
Fry garlic and onion in hot oil for 40-60 seconds.
Add the mushrooms and cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently.
Sprinkle with oregano, salt and remove from heat.
Knead the dough slightly and roll out the cake.
Grease half of the billet with tomato sauce.
Lay out the fried mushrooms, tomatoes, ham and mozzarella.
Cover with the second half of the cake and seal tightly.
Brush the calzone with the remaining oil on top, transfer to a covered baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees.
