It would seem, where is the sauerkraut, and where are the sandwiches. But in fact, this is a very popular recipe in Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria. It is in these countries that they especially like to combine cabbage with meat, balyk or sausages, and add it almost everywhere.
Ingredients
- Bread - 4 slices
- Ham (or balyk) – 80 g
- Sauerkraut - 80 g
- Cheese - 2 slices
- Butter - 20 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Brush two slices of bread with butter.
Place thinly sliced balyk, ham or any similar meat on top.
Chop the sauerkraut, squeeze out the excess liquid and put it on top.
Put a slice of cheese on the cabbage and cover the sandwiches with the remaining bread.
