Tacos with beef and salsa are one of the variations of the popular snack. To make beef as tender and soft as possible, it is advisable to stew it for a long time in broth with spices.
Ingredients
- Beef (stewed) – 150 g
- Cheddar Cheese - 70 g
- Taco tortillas (wheat) – 2 pieces
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Cilantro - 5-6 twigs
- Onion - 1/2 pieces
- Lime juice - 1 tbsp.l.
- Olive oil - 1 tbsp.l.
- Salt - to taste
- Spices and seasonings - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Take the beef stew apart with a fork or finely chop it.
Put a flatbread in a greased frying pan, put grated cheddar in half.
Put the beef on top of the cheddar and cover with the other half. Press the taco with a spatula and warm it up for a couple more minutes.
Repeat the same with the second taco and transfer the snack to a plate.
Finely chop the tomato, onion and cilantro. Put everything in a salad bowl and season with lime juice, oil, salt and add spices to taste, mix.
Serve tacos with salsa. Additionally, you can sprinkle the tacos with chopped cilantro.
