The taste of the future drink depends on the quality of fruit and water. I recommend cooking from Bogatyrskaya, Hungarian and Early zarechnaya. Compote from plums does not need to be cooked for a long time. Three minutes of boiling is quite enough for the water to be processed, and the vitamins do not disappear.

Ingredients

  • Plums - 500 g
  • Sugar - to taste
  • Water (filtered) – 3 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the plums in half, peel the seeds, chop.

Bring the water to a boil, add the fruit and cook for 3 minutes.

Turn off the heat, cool the compote slightly and add sugar.

Stir, cover and infuse for 30 minutes.
