In most cases, the exotic fruit is eaten raw. But you can also make delicious drinks and desserts from it. Today I suggest you cook a delicious compote of persimmons. You will like its unusual aroma and slightly tart taste.

Ingredients

  • Persimmon - 4 pieces
  • Lemon juice - 100 ml
  • Sugar - 150 g
  • Water (filtered) – 2.5 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Prepare the persimmon and cut into small pieces.

Bring the water to a boil, add the persimmon and cook for 3 minutes.

Pour in the lemon juice and turn off the heat after 1 minute.

Add sugar, stir and insist under the lid for 30 minutes.

Strain the compote, pour it into prepared bottles and put it in the refrigerator.
