Mint is a constant ingredient in lemonades, but it is quite infrequent in berry compote recipes. And in vain, because it still makes the drink even more fragrant, refreshing and healthy. I suggest starting the tasting with a currant compote.
Ingredients
- Red Currant - 300 g
- Black Currant - 300 g
- Sugar - 6 tbsp.l .
- Mint - 4 twigs
- Water - 1.2-1.5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse both types of currants, fill with water and bring to a boil.
Add sugar and mint, and boil the compote for 10 minutes.
Let the compote cool under the lid and strain.
