A little spice – and now any berry compote is playing with new colors. And gooseberry compote was no exception. I tell you what spices can be added and in what quantity, so as not to overdo it.
Ingredients
- Gooseberry - 1 kg
- Water - 2 l
- Brown Sugar - 100 g
- Honey - 3 tbsp.l .
- Cinnamon - 2 sticks
- Star anise - 2 asterisks
- Cardamom - 3 boxes
- Carnation - 3 bud
- Allspice - 3 peas
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash and sort the gooseberries, and send them to the bowl of the slow cooker.
Add sugar, honey and spices to the same place, and pour hot water over everything.
Turn on the cooking mode for 20 minutes and then let the compote brew a little.
