Apples are an off–season fruit, because different varieties are perfectly stored all winter. But still, this light and fresh compote turns out to be summer. At least for my taste. But perhaps you will have a different impression!
Ingredients
- Apples - 1 kg
- Sugar - 6 art.l.
- Water - 2 l
- Cinnamon - 2 sticks
- Star anise - 2 asterisks
- Mint - 4 twigs
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the middle of the apples and cut them into slices. Send it to the bowl of the slow cooker.
Add sugar, mint and all spices to the same place, and fill with water.
Cook the compote for 20 minutes in the "Cooking" mode.
