I am always looking forward to autumn, because it is at this time of the year that sea buckthorn ripens. Fragrant and healthy berry is a real gift of nature. Do not miss the opportunity to taste the wonderful sea buckthorn jelly. Cooking it is very simple!
Ingredients
- Sea Buckthorn - 1 kg
- Sugar - 1 glass
- Starch - 7 tbsp.l .
- Water (filtered) – 2.5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Sort the sea buckthorn, rinse thoroughly and pour it into a saucepan.
Add cold water, sugar and bring to a boil over low heat.
Boil for 10 minutes, remove from heat and thoroughly crush the mass with a pusher.
Strain the resulting thick compote through a sieve, pour into a saucepan and return to low heat.
Dilute the starch in a glass of cold water and pour a thin stream into the sea buckthorn liquid. At the same time, stir constantly.
Heat everything together for 2 minutes on low heat, but do not bring to a boil.
Cool the jelly slightly, pour into cups and decorate at your discretion.
