Kvass has many different options that differ in literally everything: recipe, ingredients and cooking method. Such kvass with mint is easily prepared at home and will be a real salvation from the summer heat.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the water, add half the mint and sliced lemon.
Boil the broth for 10 minutes, cool to 50 degrees and eat.
Add honey and stir until dissolved.
Dilute the yeast in warm water according to the instructions and pour into the kvass.
Add the remaining mint, cover with gauze and leave the workpiece for 12-14 hours in a dark place at room temperature.
Pour the kvass into bottles and leave for another 6-8 hours.
Cool the finished drink.
