Due to the fact that figs are very sweet and juicy, jam is often made from them. And how many housewives – so many recipes, because everyone has their own secrets and tricks. But I can confidently say that jam according to this recipe turns out to be really royal.
Ingredients
- Figs - 1 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Walnuts - 120 g
- Grape juice - 2 glasses
- Lemon juice - 2 tsp.
- Rum - 1 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the tails off the figs and cut it arbitrarily.
Cook a homogeneous syrup of grape juice and sugar.
Put figs and chopped nuts in the syrup, add lemon juice and boil everything together for a couple of minutes after boiling.
Let the workpiece cool down, bring it to a boil again and boil for another 10 minutes.
Repeat the previous step.
Pour in the rum and boil the royal jam for another 3 minutes.
Roll the blank into sterile jars.
