In the season, I want to make more delicious preparations from vegetables. And among them there must be tomatoes slices in their own juice. This is really a universal preservation: pickles are served on the table, and the juice can be drunk, used for sauces, roasts and other dishes.

Ingredients

  • Tomatoes - 8 kg
  • Garlic - 50 g
  • Vinegar - 60 ml
  • Black Pepper - 5 peas
  • Bay leaf - 2 pieces
  • Salt - 2,5 tbsp.l.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Pass half of the tomatoes through a juicer.

Bring the resulting juice to a boil, add spices, salt, garlic passed through a press and boil for 10 minutes.

Put the remaining tomatoes in clean jars.

Pour boiling juice and sterilize for 15 minutes.

Remove the jars from the sterilization bath, add vinegar and roll up.
