Well, who doesn't love a refreshing summer Mojito? And if I say that by the same principle you can cook a wonderful compote for the winter? And to make it even more original, I suggest taking gooseberries with orange as a basis.
Ingredients
- Gooseberry - 500 g
- Water - 2.5 l
- Sugar - 300 g
- Orange - 1 piece
- Mint - 3 twigs
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the orange into circles, rinse the gooseberries with mint and put everything in a sterile jar.
Boil water with sugar.
Pour into a jar, cover with a lid and leave for half an hour.
Drain the syrup, boil it again, pour it back again and roll up the jar.
