Berry jams are classics, and classics often want to diversify. That's why I've been making jams from a mixture of different ingredients for a long time, and not just from one thing. The combination of raspberries and black currants is not only delicious, but also healthy.
Ingredients
- Black Currant - 1 kg
- Raspberry - 1 kg
- Sugar - 1.5 kg
- Citric acid - 0.5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix currants, raspberries and sugar. Leave it on for a couple of hours or overnight.
Bring the mass to a boil and boil for 10 minutes.
Let the jam cool for a couple of hours and boil for 10 minutes.
Let cool again for a couple of hours and boil for another 10 minutes.
Add citric acid and roll it into sterile jars.
