Adjika with apples and tomatoes for winter
My family loves adjika, so I cook it in every possible way. I want to share with you a recipe for adjika with apples, which is prepared simply and does not require special culinary skills. In winter, meat or sandwiches with homemade bacon is what you need!
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 1,5 kg
- Apples - 0,5 kg
- Carrots - 0,5 kg
- Onion - 0,5 kg
- Bell pepper - 0,5 kg
- Garlic - 250 g
- Hot red pepper - 150 g
- Allspice (with peas) – 5 pcs.
- Black Pepper (polka dots) – 10 pcs.
- Vegetable oil - 250 ml
- Vinegar (9%) – 30 ml
- Sugar - 80 g
- Salt - 60 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the apples and all the vegetables, peel and cut into small arbitrary pieces, then pass everything through a meat grinder in turn. Chop the garlic separately.
Put the vegetable mass into a cooking pot, add vegetable oil and, stirring, bring to a boil. Boil the workpiece over low heat to the desired consistency (this will take about 40-60 minutes).
Add salt, sugar, crushed garlic, black pepper and allspice. Pour in the vinegar, stir and boil for another 10 minutes.
Pour the boiling adjika into sterile jars, roll it up, turn it upside down, wrap it up and leave it to cool completely. Store the sauce in a cool, dark place.
