Jam can be prepared in different ways, and everyone has their own preferences. If you prefer homogeneous jam without pits and other surprises – this option is for you. For a change, I'll tell you how to cook it from cherry.
Ingredients
- Bird cherry - 1 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp.l .
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the cherry, cover with sugar and leave for an hour.
Bring the jam to a boil and cook for 20 minutes on low heat.
Rub it through a sieve, boil it again, add lemon juice and boil for another 10 minutes.
Roll the jam into sterile jars.
