When it comes to draining, the first thing that comes to mind most often is a Hungarian. These are the same oblong fruits with a seemingly whitish bloom. It is the Hungarian that most often grows in the country, and it also makes the most delicious compote.

Ingredients

  • Plums (Hungarian) – 1 kg
  • Sugar - 1.5 glasses
  • Citric acid - 0.5 tsp.
  • Water - 2 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the plums, remove the pits and put them in sterile jars.

Cover the fruit with sugar, pour boiling water and leave for 5 minutes.

Drain the syrup, boil it again, add citric acid and pour the plum again.

Roll up the compote for the winter.
