Ingredients
- Plums (Hungarian) – 1 kg
- Sugar - 1.5 glasses
- Citric acid - 0.5 tsp.
- Water - 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the plums, remove the pits and put them in sterile jars.
Cover the fruit with sugar, pour boiling water and leave for 5 minutes.
Drain the syrup, boil it again, add citric acid and pour the plum again.
Roll up the compote for the winter.
