Berry compotes are good in their variety. After all, you can come up with so many combinations of ingredients that it will be possible not to repeat for months. Moreover, our latitudes are rich in different types of berries. I share my favorite version of strawberries and gooseberries.
Ingredients
- Strawberries - 500 g
- Gooseberry - 500 g
- Mint (leaves) – 1 handful
- Sugar - 130 g
- Water - 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fill the berry with water and bring to a boil.
Add sugar and boil the compote for 5 minutes on low heat.
Add mint leaves and boil the compote for another 5 minutes.
Let it brew a little under the lid.
