Is it possible to refuse a glass of cold cherry compote? The intoxicating aroma and delicate acidity are perfectly refreshing and invigorating, and you can even write poems about the color of the drink. Compote is cooked simply and very quickly. I'm sharing the recipe with you.

Ingredients

  • Cherry - 250 g
  • Sugar - 180 g
  • Water (filtered) – 3 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Fill the cherry with salted water for 10 minutes.

Flip into a colander and rinse under running water.

Using a pin or a special device, peel the cherry from the seeds.

Boil the water, add the cherries and cook for 5 minutes.

Turn off the heat, add sugar and stir.

Insist the compote under the lid for 1 hour.

Strain, pour into prepared bottles and put in the refrigerator.
