Kvass is an excellent drink for quenching thirst, especially in the warmer months. There is no alcohol in it, or its percentage is so negligibly small that it is perfectly suitable for children and adults. I share an original recipe for kvass from whey.
Ingredients
- Serum (dairy) – 5 l
- Sugar - 1 glass
- Fresh yeast - 50 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Heat the serum to 35-40 degrees.
Add sugar and yeast diluted in warm water.
Mix the workpiece until dissolved and leave for 5-6 hours in a warm place.
Cool the finished kvass in the refrigerator.
