Ingredients
- Gooseberry - 600 g
- Red currant - 600 g
- Sugar - 2 glasses
- Lemon - 0.5 pieces
- Water - 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut off the twigs from the currant, pick the gooseberries and cut the lemon into cubes.
Put everything in sterile jars and cover with sugar.
Pour boiling water over the berries and sterilize the jars in a saucepan with water for another 15 minutes.
Roll up the compote for the winter.
